A Research Project to Find Relief from Covid Exposed a Little Known Weight Loss Secret

If you have been reading this blog for any length of time, then you will know that for almost two years I have been all about the battle against COVID and those who push the evil agenda to scare us. I've been looking for natural plants and polyphenols that combat the effects of this viral infection.

Perilla – Perilla frutescens, commonly called perilla or Korean perilla, is a species of Perilla in the mint family Lamiaceae. This annual plant is native to Southeast Asia and Indian highlands, and is traditionally grown in the Korean peninsula, Southern China, Japan and India as a crop. It has traditionally been used as a source of human and animal food that is rich in fat and good quality protein. Among the noted benefits of Perilla are:

I narrowed the search down to about a dozen or so plants and herbs. The main one, that I am sure you all now about by now is Quercetin. It acts as an ionophore to transport zinc into cells so that they can kill the covid infection. In the search I fund may other significant herbs that offer tremendous benefits. What I was NOT expecting was that 8 of these herbs are combined into a local weight loss product called “Exipure.”

Inside every Exipure Capsule, You will find:

Lowers Cholesterol, Cancer, Lowers Heart Disease Risk, Reduced Allergy Signs and Symptoms,Maintain Oral Health, Great for Asthma, Colds, Great for Problem Skin, Allergies, and Bronchitis, Decrease stomach and intestinal discomforts, Increase Immunity, Prevents Cavities, Anti-Depressant and Great for the Brain, Reduce stomach discomfort, Reduced Oxidative Stress, Managed Joint Pain and Inflammation, Improves wellbeing, Effective against infection or swelling,Effective shield against sun.

Kudzu – Kudzu is a type of vine that is used medicinally for a broad spectrum of different purposes, including some that are meant to promote weight loss. This plant can be found on ingredients lists under any of a long list of different potential names, including: ge gen, gange, kudsu, mealy kudzu, isoflavone, Indian kudzu, gegen, daidzein, dolichos lobatus, neustanthus chinensis, dolichos hirsutus, bidarikand, and several others.

As a wild plant, kudzu has become quite common in North America after it was first brought to the Southeastern United States in 1876 for the purpose of preventing soil erosion. It grows rampantly, spreading quickly and covering over pretty much everything that had been growing in its path. As a result of this rapid growth and spreading, it rapidly overtook both farms and the exteriors of buildings until it became known as “the vine that ate the South.”

While many people may consider this a very undesirable weed because it can be quite invasive and difficult to control, its root, leaf and flower have all been used in Chinese medicine since 200 BC or earlier. It had been used as an alcoholism treatment as far back as 600 AD.

Nowadays, kudzu is still used for that purpose, but it is also used for treating other kinds of issues such as high blood pressure, circulatory issues, symptoms of hangover (dizziness, nausea, vomiting and dizziness), certain skin issues, diabetes, diarrhea, fever, stomach pain due to gas, menopause symptoms, and obesity.

One of the chemicals found in kudzu – called puerarin – is sometimes intravenously administered by healthcare providers in China for the treatment of strokes caused by blood clots.

Holy Basil – Research shows that holy basil supports your respiratory health. That’s likely one of the reasons that people have turned to it in all its forms as a traditional medicine, including holy basil tea, or as it is sold in many stores as “Tulsi Tea.”

White Korean Ginseng – Ginseng has been used for improving overall health. It has also been used to strengthen the immune system and help fight off stress and disease. There are different types of ginseng. Asian ginseng (from Chinese and Korean sources) has been used for unclear thinking, diabetes, and male erectile dysfunction. American ginseng has been used for diabetes and for reducing the risk of the common cold and flu. Siberian ginseng has been used for reducing the risk of colds and flu, and for reducing the severity of herpes simplex virus type 2 infections.

Amur cork Bard – This herb is used for treating bacillary dysentery, cerebrospinal meningitis, tuberculosis, pneumonia, chronic hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, acute conjunctivitis, trichomoniasis vaginitis, cervical spondylosis, chronic suppurative otitis media and ear eczema.

Studies show that the diet based on plants lowers the chances of prostate cancer. The effect of Nexrutine was examined which an herbal extract is made from Phellodendron amurense which is traditionally used in Chinese medicine for about hundred years for its astringent, anti-diarrheal and anti-inflammatory properties. It inhibits the proliferation of tumor cells by induction of apoptosis and also inhibits the signaling of cell survival. The results shows that the treatment of Nexrutine inhibit proliferation of androgen independent and androgen responsive human prostate cancer cells with apoptosis induction.

Propolis – Propolis is a resinous substance that bees produce from materials collect from tree buds. Rich in flavonoids, a class of antioxidants, propolis has a long history of use as a natural treatment for a host of health problems, including antimicrobial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor qualities. Propolis is touted as a natural treatment for the following health problems and conditions:

  • acne
  • bacterial infections
  • burns
  • canker sores
  • colds
  • cold sores
  • diabetes
  • giardiasis
  • herpes
  • inflammation
  • influenza
  • peptic ulcer disease

Quercetin – Have you wondered what makes this “superfood” so super? Do you know what the top superfoods like red wine, green tea, kale and blueberries all have in common? The answer is quercetin, a natural compound tied to what all of us seek: better longevity, heart health, endurance, immunity, and more.

Quercetin is considered to be the most widely distributed and extensively studied flavonoid, according to a reviews.

Quercetin has been shown in dozens of studies to have anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory and antiviral activities. In fact, there isn’t much this powerful antioxidant compound can’t do, especially when combined with the health benefits of bromelain, an anti-inflammatory enzyme.

Oleuropein – According to the US National Library of Medicine, a “Mediterranean diet” rich in plant-based foods, fish, and olive oil, is associated with reduced risk of most aging-related diseases including metabolic syndrome and neurodegenerative disorders. Oleuropein, a polyphenolic compound enriched in olive oil and leaves of the olive tree, has attracted scientific attention in recent years because of a variety of reported health benefits. While the mechanisms by which oleuropein functions in vivo and in vitro have been investigated, more studies are needed to better understand oleuropein's protective mechanism of action and to develop oleuropein as a therapeutic. Oleuropein and its metabolite, hydroxytyrosol, have powerful antioxidant activity, which might be responsible for some of olive oil's antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and disease-fighting activities.

Oleuropein is best known for its blood pressure-lowering effect. When administered via intraperitoneal or intravenous injections, oleuropein significantly reduces systolic and diastolic blood pressure in animal models. The ability of oleuropein to lower blood pressure may justify the traditional use of olive leaf in the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension. Our recent study provides significant insight into the mechanism whereby oleuropein reduces blood pressure. We find that oleuropein protects the hypothalamus from oxidative stress by improving mitochondrial function through activation of the Nrf2-mediated signaling pathway. These effects are evident when supplementation occurs either before or after the onset of hypertension, suggesting that oleuropein is a promising strategy to both prevent and treat high blood pressure.

So, while I started out looking for relief from the symptoms of Covid, I found this combination of herbs that is being used as a weight loss product. When I researched the product, I found out that sales are through the roof! It is the strongest selling product on the platform that sells it. Ironically, I am buying my product today, but it appears I may get more benefit from it's weight loss capability than from the covid protection since I've already had Covid and I'm not fully immune.
